The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:
• Lina V. Vaughan, 51, of 16138 Durham Road in Houston, was issued citations for driving with a suspended license, failure to register a motor vehicle and no insurance after a traffic stop on Thomasville Road at about 8:15 p.m. Sept. 11.
• Erica S.L. Woolsey, 26, of 2549 Date Road at Summersville, was cited on Sept. 12 for operating a motor vehicle with expired registration and a seatbelt violation.
• Regina L. Cox, 46, of 16681 Brushy Creek Road in Houston, was issued citations for driving with an expired license and no insurance after a traffic stop on U.S. 63 at about 2:20 a.m. Sept. 5.
• Jennifer Moebieus, 36, of 206 Park St. in Houston, was issued a citation for fourth-degree assault after allegedly striking a 37-year-old man in the face at about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 9.
The incident occurred while officers were investigating a report of an assault at the Office Bar on Grand Avenue. While the man was being questioned about the reported assault, officers reportedly witnessed Moebieus hit him on the left side of his face with an open hand.
She was taken to the Texas County Jail for a 12-hour hold period.
• Zachery J. Thurman, 22, of 614 W. Chestnut St. in Houston, was issued three citations for stealing under $750 after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart multiple times on Sept. 6.
