Students at Raymondville start kindness rock garden
Ashleigh Barnett at Raymondville R-7 applied and received a grant to create a kindness rock garden. Each student in pre-K through eighth grade painted inspiring rocks and thank-you notes to donors. There was a rock garden ceremony on Aug. 31. Students received awards, Each student placed their rock creation outside to create the rock garden. "The garden will empower school-wide kindness and hope," said Barnett.
