Do you have a child that loves horses? Wright County 4-H is offering a horse workshop open to all kids ages 8-to-18 from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Mountain Grove Senior Center and Fairgrounds.

Participants do not have to own horses and can be of any level, from beginners to experienced. 4-H volunteer Jaci Ferguson will lead the workshop, and youth will learn about horses in fun and exciting ways and get hands-on interaction with horses regarding feeding, care, breeds, tack and grooming.

Pre-registration is required by Oct. 15. To register, or for more information, call the University of Missouri Extension office in Houston at 417-967-4545. The fee is $30 per person.
