The Houston High School volleyball received the No. 5 seed for next week’s Class 2 District 9 tournament.
The Lady Tigers will play fourth-seeded Mountain Grove at 5 p.m. Monday at Cabool High School.
Liberty received the district’s top seed and will play the Houston-Mountain Grove winner in the semifinals. Other first-round matchups pair No. 2 Licking against No. 7 Thayer and No. 3 Cabool against No. 6 Plato.
The semifinals are 5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23. The championship match follows at 7 p.m.
Houston (9-15-2) and Mountain Grove (14-11-5) haven’t played yet this season. They faced each other Tuesday inside Hiett Gymnasium.
