Braedence Jones, 6, is reported missing and could be in Texas County.

The Texas County Sheriff’s Department reports that authorities are looking for a missing 6-year-old boy from the Camdenton area, who may be in Texas County.

Braedence Jones was last seen Aug. 3. He is described as white, blonde hair, brown eyes, 3-foot, 5 inches and weighs 36 pounds.

He may be in the Roby or Houston areas.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol Missing Persons Clearinghouse said the boy’s father is the court-ordered custodian. His mother, Aubrey Ferguson, is refusing to return the child to the father after her visitation, authorities said.

Several attempts have been made to contact the mother.

Braedence was last seen wearing a yellow cut-off shirt and red cut-off sweatpants with Batman sandals.

He may be in a 2004 red Honda Civic (Missouri license plate DR1T8R) or a 2000 gray four-door Toyota Camry (Missouri license plate SR5K7T).

Anyone with information can call the Camden County Sheriff’s Department at 573-346-2243 or 911.
