Rhease Manier scored 12 points and Aliyah Walker had 11 as the Houston eighth-grade girls’ basketball team defeated Cabool 35-19 at home Thursday.

The Lady Tigers led 16-8 at the half and finished the game with an 11-2 edge in the fourth quarter.

Houston improved to 5-2.
