The following meals and activities will be available next week at Houston Senior Center:
• Monday, Dec. 3– Swiss steak, scalloped potatoes, Winter Blend vegetables, wheat bread slice and slab pie. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; pool, shuffleboard and exercise room; adult coloring and puzzles; free meal drawing at noon.
• Tuesday, Dec. 4– roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, Country Blend vegetables, bread and butter and Jell-O with fruit. 10 a.m. – noon Nail Clinic; 12:30 p.m. bingo; 9 – 11 a.m. craft and chat group.
• Wednesday, Dec. 5– chicken and noodles, Harvard beets, peas and carrots and ice cream. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; pool, shuffleboard and exercise room; adult coloring and puzzles.
• Thursday, Dec. 6– baked chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, cream gravy, seasoned green beans, hot roll with butter and chocolate mousse. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; pool, shuffleboard and exercise room; adult coloring and puzzles.
• Friday, Dec. 7– barbecue chicken, loaded baked potato, creamy coleslaw, bread stick and peanut butter bar. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; pool, shuffleboard and exercise room; adult coloring and puzzles.
Salad bar is available every day.
Drawing for five free meals is noon on Mondays, must be present to win. There are two other food options available in dining room with 10-minute wait except, not available on Thursday.
