Aliyah Walker and Karlee Curtis both had overtime baskets as the Houston eighth-grade girls’ basketball team beat Liberty 28-24 last Thursday night in the third-place game of the Mountain Grove Tournament.
Walker, Curtis and Katie Jo Chipps scored six points apiece to lead the Lady Tigers. Mackenzie Bryan added four points.
In the semifinals, Ava beat Houston 30-20.
