Narson (Junior) Noval Neal, II, 45, son of Narson Noval Sr. and Judy (Lockridge) Neal, was born Dec. 19, 1972, in Kansas City, Mo. He passed away Dec. 5, 2018, due to an accident.
Narson was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Neilmon Joseph.
He is survived by his wife, Melitta Neal of Licking, Mo.; a brother, Neilson Nevin and wife, Melissa, and their children of Licking, Mo.; one sister, NeShanna Novella Skaggs and husband, Jacob, and their children of North Carolina; four children from his first marriage to Laura (Lagasse) Neal, Lillyan Rose, Narson “JR” Noval, III, Nadean Novon and Nethanial Zachary, all of Montana; two grandsons, Aidan Alan and John Noval also of Montana; two stepdaughters, Fellicia Burgess of Belton, Mo., and Markeyetta Barton of Licking, Mo.; one step-granddaughter, Khalees Raylynn of Belton, Mo.; as well as his beloved Mery Smith of Dixon, Mo., and her three children, Adam, Dalton and Bret Smith of Dixon, Mo.; and five grandchildren, Joseph, Aaron, Jayson, Dalton, Eli and Kayden of Dixon, Mo.
Narson had a lot of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, all to which he cared for in his own way.
Narson graduated from Plato High School in 1992. He had a fondness for martial arts and studied under Sensei Vic Rogers. He also had a love for the United States Marine Corps., to which he served a short stint. After returning home he attended a trade school for welding in Oklahoma, where he received his welding certification. Later in life Narson followed in his father’s footsteps in carpentry.
He was easy to recognize and get to know; he had an infectious laugh, a dashing smile and a distinct southern charm about him that made it easy to love him. He never knew a stranger.
Even though Narson loved hunting, the highlight of his day or night would be fishing his way up or down many of his favorite river ways. He was at peace when he was in the woods with nature.
Narson lead a really full life. He was richer than most in friends who loved him. His life was full of adventures with both family and friends. He loved and lived each day to the fullest. “Part of the journey of life is the end. It’s what you choose to do in the middle that counts, don’t forget to live.”…He didn’t!
A celebration of his life is 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, at Evans Funeral Home with Wesley Wallace officiating. Services and cremation were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
