—Heard that a federal lawsuit filed by Edward L. Durbin against the county and others in employment by the county was dismissed April 4 by a federal judge, who said the matter was dismissed for failing to prosecute and/or comply with the court’s orders.

Durbin’s lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice, which means he can refile it. In it, he alleged poor food conditions in the jail that caused illness, medical needs were not met and inadequate law library materials.
