•A deputy was dispatched at about 2 p.m. July 5 regarding a report of a burglary at a Highway U residence at Cabool.

A 52-year-old woman there told the officer she had been caring for her daughter’s house while she was out of town, and that cable running to the home had been cut and a large window broken. The resident had three game cameras set up outside, but only one worked. It reportedly showed photos of an unknown man and woman who showed up at different times on July 2. Investigation continues.

•A deputy was dispatched at about 11 a.m. July 2 regarding a report of shots fired at a Rainbow Drive residence at Willow Springs.

•On June 9, a deputy investigated a report of vandalism at a church on Brown Hill Road at Houston.

The officer met with a 68-year-old man there who showed where a window had been broken and a screen cut, and how a refrigerator had been gone through. The officer also observed damage to a couple of exterior doors, and obscene writing on a white board in a Sunday school room.
