A Summersville girl was injured late Saturday in an accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The 16-year-old girl ran off the right side of the roadway in a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, struck a tree and fence while traveling northbound on Highway YY two miles northeast of Summersville, the patrol said.
She was taken to Mercy in Mountain View with minor injuries. The vehicle was totaled.
The name of the girl was not released.
