Lucille “Lucy” Ward, age 72, of Richland, Mo., passed away on Nov. 20, 2019. She entered this life Dec. 26, 1946, in Noble, Ky., the daughter of South and Nokia (Miller) Noble. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Living the country life, Lucy loved working in her flowerbeds, doing yardwork, taking walks along the lake and hiking in the woods. Lucy worked as a supervisor in the U.S. Army for 20 years at Fort Leonard Wood. When she had the chance, Lucy loved to travel but most of all, she loved time with her grandkids. She will be forever missed and loved by family, friends, and all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Kristopher Emit Kenneth Ward; daughter, Sondra Kay Fugate; daughter, Tina Louise Fugate; aunt, Fanny Snyder; and uncle, Stan Snyder; and daughter-in-law, Melinda Rowles.
Lucy is survived by her son, Roger Rowles of O’Fallon, Mo.; daughter, Amanda (Larry) Hurley of Ridgedale, Mo.; daughter, Theresa (Vernon) Noble of Kentucky; partner, Bill Jones of Richland, Mo.; brother, South “Junior” (Virginia) Noble of Mountain Grove, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
