Skyler Lakota “Little Bird” Chretien, 19, was born Aug. 19, 2000, in Poplar Bluff to Cheryl Chretien. He passed away Dec 2, 2019, at Mercy in Springfield.

Mr. Chretien attended Summersville Elementary and High School, graduating with the class of 2019. He also attended vo-tech where he learned automotive repair and welding, which led to his welding job at the Durham Co. in Houston.

He enjoyed working on his rigs, his phone or mudding and backroading. He also found pleasure traveling with his parents and staying in hotels.

Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Nancey Lee Beaudein Chretien-Collins.

He is survived by his parents, Cheryl Chretien and Leigh Grammar of the home; grandparents, Robert Chretien of Salem and Willie and Joyce Grammar of Summersville; adopted grandmother, Dorothy Conner of Summersville, aunts, uncles and other friends and relatives.

Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at Bradford Funeral Home, Summersville, with Gary Steelman, Nate Cooper and Austin Bradley officiating. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Skyler Chretien Memorial Fund in care of Bradford Funeral Home.
