MoDOT said work will be performed on a bridge on Highway 32. Additionally, asphalt work is planned. 

Highway 32 over the Big Piney River will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance west of Licking, MoDOT announced.

The section is between Jack Tar Road and Hillcrest Road.

Weather permitting, work will be performed beginning 7 a.m. Monday, March 16,with plans to open the lane restriction, Friday, April 10, by 7 p.m. The work zone will be set-up 24hours a day. Work will be completed under one-lane traffic across the bridge using temporary signals.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.

Highway 32 also is slated to receive an asphalt overlay between Licking at U.S. 63 to Success.

Weather permitting, work will take place 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, March 16, through Friday, May 29, including weekends as necessary. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
