Judy Ann Vardaman, 77, was born July 24, 1942, to Elmer C. Reed and Martha Lois Allen in South Bend, Ind. She passed away Feb. 10, 2020, at Texas County Memorial Hospital, Houston.
She grew up in South Bend and attended school at Mishawaka High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Vardaman is survived by her children: Richard Barrett, Kathy Davis, Judith Hart, Janet Wilson Carney and Sherry Miriani; and three grandsons.
She was a resident of Hickory Park Manor for the past two years.
Mrs. Vardaman loved to crochet and enjoyed playing the organ and singing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Judy Vardaman Memorial Fund, c/o Evans Funeral Home, to help with the purchase of her monument.

Services were 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at Evans Funeral Home, Houston, with Pastor Erin McConnell officiating. Burial was in Brown Hill Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
