LAVEDA JANIE (FISHER) MOFFETT

Laveda Janie (Fisher) Moffett, age 71, was born to Lee and Goldie (Richardson) Fisher on July 31, 1948, in Gustine, Calif. She passed away Feb. 15, 2020, in Houston, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her soulmate, George Balding; and a brother, Ervin Fisher.

Laveda is survived by her daughters, Angela Kramm, Tammy LaRue (Roy), Patsy Huested (Bill) and Shelly Gardner (Danny); seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Gayer (Orval), and Shirley Gayer (Delbert), and two brothers, Roy Fisher (Sue), and Eddie Fisher (Julie).

Laveda graduated from Houston High School with the class of 1966. She was a precious sister of the Spoken Word Tabernacle in Salem, Mo.

She enjoyed gardening, quilting, camping, fishing and traveling with her soulmate.

She lived her life serving the Lord and loving her family. She left a loving and lasting impressions on all those she met through her journey called life.

The family will host a graveside service at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at at Arthur’s Creek Cemetery. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
