SUSAN DENICE (HARPER) PASHIA

Susan Denice Harper, age 58, was born to Durwood and Carolyn (Brown) Harper on March 8, 1961, in Landstuhl, Germany. She passed away Feb. 3, 2020, in Camdenton, Mo.

She grew up in Success, Mo., and was a 1979 graduate of Houston High School.

Susan was joined in matrimony to Richard Pashia on Oct. 1, 1999 in St Clair, Mo.

Susan is preceded in death by her grandparents: Dale and Gwen Harper and Michael and Hazel Brown; and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Sharp.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Richard of the home in Climax Springs, Mo.; her parents, Durwood and Carolyn Harper of Houston, Mo.; two brothers, Wayne Harper and wife Tabby, and Mark Harper and wife Coleen of Houston, Mo.; two nephews, Devin Harper and wife Whitney, and Ryan Harper and wife Felicia; a niece, Kate Renfrow and husband, Dusty; her stepchildren: Daniel (Tracy) Pashia, Renee (Jason) Barngrover and Monica Pashia; and three grandchildren: Grace, Jordan and Samantha.

She and Ric started a commercial dog breeding business which they maintained for 20 years. She was so proud of the many people she made happy with their new puppies. Susan was also proud of the two top 10 finishes at the Quarter Horse Congress that she achieved. In 2011 they moved to Lake of the Ozarks to enjoy time fishing. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, at Evans Funeral Home, Houston. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, at Ozark Baptist Church with Paul Posey officiating. Burial is in Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Wayne Harper, Devin Harper, Ryan Harper, Jeff Beachump, Dan Pashia and Rob Pashia.
