An inmate at the South Central Correctional Center at Licking died Thursday morning, the Missouri Department of Corrections said.
Jimmy Williams, 69, was serving two life sentences for first-degree murder and armed criminal action from Platte County. He has been in prison since Nov. 14, 2002.
He died of apparent natural causes, the department said.
Natural causes that were left untreated until it was too late.
