The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between March 25 and March 31, the Houston Police Department answered 172 calls for service and initiated 40 traffic stops resulting in five citations and 38 warnings.
- On March 25, officers arrested Daniel K. Labbee, 39, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charge Stealing. He was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was unable to post the $2,000 cash-only bond.
- On March 26, officers cited Yi Do Hwan, 26, of Fort Benning, Ga., per charge Operated A Motor Vehicle With No Valid Operator’s License.
- On March 27, a 17-year-old male juvenile was found to be in possession of a THC vape pen. A report was completed and referred to the Texas County Juvenile Office.
- On March 27, officers responded to the 300 block of W. Mill Street for a theft. It was determined that someone had stolen a bicycle from a residence sometime during the day. Officers are reviewing surveillance footage, and the investigation continues.
- On March 27, officers took a report of a stolen air rifle from a residence in the 300 block of Bryan Street. The investigation continues.
- On March 28, officers assisted the Texas County Sheriff’s Office with an assault investigation.
- On March 28, officers responded to the 300 block of Bryan Street for a dog bite. A 63-year-old female was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
- On March 29, officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting incident. Faithful S. Thomas, 20, of Edgar Springs was issued a citation for Stealing Under $750 (Shoplifting) following the investigation. A 17-year-old female was also believed to have participated. A report on the juvenile will be forwarded to the Texas County Juvenile Office.
- On March 29, officers responded to the 700 block of Holder Drive for a possible burglary. Officers located a 34-year-old male and a 33-year-old female at the location. Upon further investigation, both parties were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A report will be sent to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
- On March 30, officers responded to Texas County Memorial Hospital for a reported dog bite. A 4-year-old male was bitten on the face by a family member’s dog at a residence in town.
- On March 30, officers arrested Nolan T. Hack, 40, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charges Driving While Intoxicated, Resisting Arrest and Failure To Maintain Financial Responsibility. Hack was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated after being unable to post the $20,000 bond.
- On March 30, officers responded to the 1200 block of MO 17 for a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located a short distance away from the residence and was returned home safe.
