The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between April 22 and April 28, the Houston Police Department answered 150 calls for service.

  • On April 22, officers responded to a Houston business for a motor vehicle crash involving the suspect leaving the scene after striking a gas pump. The suspect was identified and a report was forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor’s Office for formal charges.
  • On April 22, officers cited Amy M. Tune, 31, of Summersville, for Driving While Suspended. Tune was also arrested on two active Houston Municipal warrants per charges Driving While Suspended and Expired Plates. Tune was transported to the Texas County Jail, where she was able to post bond and was released.
  • On April 23, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on U.S. 63, near Chestnut Street. Michael Gelsinger, 42, of West Plains, was operating a 2011 Toyota Tacoma and collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier operated by Courtney Liles, 25, of Houston. No injuries were reported. Gelsinger was cited for improper passing.
  • On April 25, officers responded to a Houston business for a domestic disturbance. It was reported that a 43-year-old female had sprayed a male in the face with pepper spray. After completing the investigation, officers forwarded a report to the Texas County Prosecutor’s Office for review and formal charges.
  • On April 25, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Both parties had separated prior to officers arriving on scene and no physical contact had taken place. 
  • On April 26, officers arrested Jason R. Hall, 42, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charge Driving While Revoked/Suspended. Hall was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated after being unable to post the $1,000 bond.
  • On April 26, officers arrested Bobby J. Little, 43, of Elk Creek, on an active Texas County warrant per charge Driving While Revoked/Suspended. Little was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated due to the warrant having no bond.
  • On April 27, three juvenile males were referred to the Texas County Juvenile Office after being in possession of marijuana.
