Members of the Texas County Commission handled several matters during meetings June 19 – 20.
Members:
- Signed a commercial fiber utility agreement with the City of Houston.
- Received a payment from the National Opioid Settlement.
- Visited with In-House Tech concerning IT issues and CPI.
In other business, commissioners heard from:
- Sheriff Scott Lindsey who discussed a park service agreement.
- The maintenance department on museum repair updates and rooftop units at the justice center.
- Individuals concerned about work taking place in the Raymondville area.
- Constituents concerning speed limit signs on township roads and a US Cellular tower in Lynch Township.
- David Scantlin concerning FEMA requests and participation.
