Cowboy Roundup was a hit again at Summersville Library on Saturday with about 50 in attendance — in spite of the forecasted showers that didn’t materialize, said Librarian Kathie Cox. It was the 10th year for the event. She expressed thanks to Haylee and Hannah Brawley for providing rides on Husker, shown here with the young groomers, and to Dusty Bell for bringing his roping bull and giving individual roping tips to all the wannabe cowpokes. Sydney Calhoun and Bea Hall worked with the Summersville Friends of the Library to provide games and lunch for all. (Submitted event)
