The Houston Mighty Mites football program is hosting a gun raffle fundraiser to benefit the players.
Available is a Stevens Model 334 .308 caliber rifle equipped with a Leupold VX Freedom 4-12X40 scope.
Tickets cost $5, or 5 for $20, and can be purchased from players and coaches, or at the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, Rod’s Auto Farm and Ranch in Houston or at Phoenix Pawn in Licking.
The drawing will take place at 5:30 p.m., Sept. 19, at the practice field, and will be live streamed. Participants don’t need to be present to win.
Funds raised will go toward the purchase of new equipment and uniforms for the kids.
