Ten girls competed for four titles during the Miss Southern Missouri pageant Saturday, Nov. 9. Two local girls were crowned. 

Aubrey Gorman, a senior at Licking High School, was named Miss Texas County’s Teen 2025. She is the daughter of Kenny and Kristie Gorman of Licking. Gorman’s community service initiative is titled “Elevate Her Faith.” She will compete at Miss Missouri’s Teen competition in June. 

Brooklyn Atterberry, a Plato High School graduate, was named Heart of Southern Missouri 2025. Atterberry’s community service initiative is titled “Project Tooth Fairy.” She currently resides in Waynesville. 

Deja Grissom, of New Madrid, was named Miss Texas County 2025 and Tina Ross, of Columbia, was named Miss Southern Missouri 2025. They will compete at Miss Missouri competition in June. 

The Miss Southern Missouri/Texas County pageant directors are Cassie Carter and Shari McCallister.
