David Eugene Stalder, 85, was born on Nov. 21, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, to William and Ruby (King) Stalder. He passed away on Dec. 19, 2024, in Houston, Missouri.

David was a graduate of Houston High School. He worked for many years at the Lee factory until it closed and then for Brown’s Shoe factory after that. He loved to go fishing and spend time outdoors.

David is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby; brother, Doug Stalder; and niece, Sandy Sisco.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary (Danny) Roderick of Bucyrus and Verna Buckner of Houston; nieces, Maia Griner, Lily Griner, Tracy Griner, Jade Sisco and Willow Sisco; and extended family members and friends. He will be dearly missed by all those that loved him.

Per David’s wishes, he was cremated and no services held.
