An area organization recently donated craft materials to pre-school students at Cabool Elementary School.

Members of the Ozark Spring Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) made the contribution.

The NSDAR Community Classroom Committee was created with a two-fold purpose:

  • To encourage members to volunteer and provide additional support to children and teachers in classrooms and schools in their own communities, including promotion of National Teacher Appreciation Week events.
  • To provide sound lesson plans rich in historical facts, enabling teachers to relay the story of the development of the United States.
