Jackie Dale Hutsell was born on Dec. 16, 1956, to Aaron Dale and Barbara Jean (Michael) Hutsell in Mansfield, Missouri. He passed away on Jan. 20, 2025, in Hazleton, Indiana, at the age of 68.

Jack was an amazing man. He loved fishing and hunting and could talk to you about guns and knives all day long. He loved home cooking, especially his fried chicken and he loved making jerky. He was as country as you can get and one of the hardest workers you could ever meet. He was the true definition of a good ole boy.

He was so funny and would do anything to put a smile on your face. He was the most selfless person and would give the shirt off his back to anybody. He had the biggest heart and was the kindest man you’d ever know, and he never met a stranger.

He loved his girls and absolutely adored his grandkids and great grandkids, his wife, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and cousins. He would share everything about them with anyone who would listen. He loved all of his family. Goodbyes were always super hard for him, and he would take forever to end the conversation. He and Klara had a wonderful bond, and he always looked forward to their Sunday calls. He will be incredibly missed by all of his family and friends.

Jackie is survived by his daughters, Klara Jean Hutsell and Marsha Lynn Tronstad and husband Joel; wife and friend, Sandra Kay Hutsell; grandchildren, Rheanna Basel Thompson and husband Shane, Braydan James Dale Martin, Michael Joel Tronstad and Matthew LeRoy Tronstad; great-grandchildren, Krayson Jack Martin-Thompson and Maxtyn James Alaxander Thompson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Barbara; brother, Bobby Hutsell; and sister, Pamela Hutsell-Hall.

A visitation for Jackie was held from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home in Houston.
