Here are cancellations, postponements due to inclement weather:

  • The Texas County Circuit Clerk’s office will close at 1 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 10, due to inclement weather.
  • HHS Tigers Basketball’s game Friday at Summersville has been postponed to Feb. 6.
  • Houston Lady Tigers Basketball’s Saturday morning matchup with Naylor in Liberty Legends Shootout is postponed to Feb. 8.
  • HHS Saturday School is canceled.
  • Saturday’s HHS Scholar Bowl Tournament at Salem is canceled.
  • Licking High School boys’ basketball game scheduled for Friday, Jan 10 (tonight) has been canceled.
  • Licking High School boys’ basketball game at Mountain View-Liberty against Alton scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, Jan, 11, has been postponed to Saturday, Feb. 8.
  • The City of Houston bus will not run today due to inclement weather.
  • Cabool Head Start, Houston Head Start
  • Missouri State University – West Plains; housing check-in begins at 10 a.m.
  • The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks blood drive scheduled for tomorrow at Texas County Memorial Hospital has been canceled due to the anticipated inclement weather.
  • Due to impending winter weather, the Houston girls’ basketball game at Willow Springs tonight (Thursday) has been postponed. It will be played at a rescheduled time.
  • There will no school Friday at: Houston, Licking, Cabool and Plato (and daycare).
  • Cabool Second Baptist Daycare is closed Friday.
  • Plato High School’s boys’ basketball game is postponed Friday. Homecoming, Wall of Honor ceremony and honoring the 2005 state baseball champions will be celebrated Feb. 14.
  • Fort Leonard Wood: Normal operations for Friday. Unscheduled leave is in effect for those personnel not critical/essential, as previously identified by supervisors for Jan. 10. Supervisors may permit telework, if eligible/capable as previously identified, for employees who have transportation complications.
