The National Weather Service said there is an increasing severe thunderstorm risk today from west to east in the region, culminating in a moderate (level 4 of 5) risk in the far eastern Ozarks.

➔ Very windy today (outside of storms), with potentially widespread damaging winds of 50 – 60+ miles per hour.

âž” Low relative humidities again today, leading to widespread significant to extreme fire weather potential. Some fire departments in the county fought blazes Thursday.
