The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:
- On April 15, a 62-year-old man reported invasion of privacy at his Boon Road residence at Licking.
The man told an officer that he and his wife had been using their hot tub on the evening of April 11, and a drone had approached from the west and hovered over their location before traveling east. He said he didn’t know anyone in the area who had a drone, but that his property borders the National Forest, and the unit might have been owned by the government.
- On April 16, deputies responded to a domestic dispute at a Douglas Road residence at Bucyrus involving a 73-year-old man and 74-year-old woman.
During investigation, the woman was identified as the primary aggressor and was taken to jail. A probable cause statement was sent to the county prosecutor seeking an assault charge against her.
