Houston resident Jessica Spauldin was recently named SeniorAge 2025 Provider Reassessor of the Year.
The statewide award was presented by the Department of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS). Spauldin is employed by the SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging, which is contracted to complete Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) assessments through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and Department of Social Services (DSS). As a Service Assessment Specialist, she provides reassessment for people who meet level of care for a nursing home but wish to remain in their home with support (like senior center meals and in-home service).
Spauldin has been with SeniorAge for close to eight years, working across eight counties. Her current service area is Texas, Shannon and Wright counties.
“I am blessed to help people retain independence,” Spauldin said.
