A 78-year-old woman received moderate injuries Wednesday night after she was struck by a vehicle, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. B.A. Swink said a 2014 Ford F-150 truck driven by an 81-year-old man struck the woman, who had exited the vehicle on First Street in Summersville. The truck moved forward, the trooper said.
The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
