Patrick Wayne Swaringim, age 52, passed away on April 11, 2025, in Licking, Missouri.

He was born on June 22, 1972 in Farmington, Missouri to Kenneth and Reba (Bone) Swaringim. 

Patrick attended Licking High School and then Spartan School of Aeronautics. He became a certified aircraft frame and powerplant mechanic. Patrick worked for Opies Transport as a truck driver for 23 years, and in 2012 was named employee of the year. He was affectionately known by his trucking family as “Milk Man.” 

Pat found great pleasure in farming, driving a truck or a tractor, barbecuing and cooking for family and friends, and spending time with his loved ones. Pat was forever chasing the sun. 

Pat is preceded in death by his mother, Reba Swaringim; brother, Karl Swaringim; grandfather, Henry Swaringim; and maternal grandparents, Hugh and Della Bone. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Reva Swaringim; father, Kenneth Swaringim; stepson, Doug Walker; siblings, Kathy Watson, Kimberly Kepple and Shakoda Davis; sister-in-law, Cathleen Swaringim; grandmother, Luetta Swaringim; five step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

A visitation for Pat will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Boone Creek Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Boone Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Russ Stigall officiating. Inurnment will follow in Boone Creek Cemetery. A luncheon at the church will be provided after the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to ALS.org, in loving memory of Pat. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.
