Drivers on Route 17 between Houston and Evening Shade will want to know of delays as construction crews work on pavement improvements.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), the affected section of Route 17 runs between Route AW near Roby and U.S 63 in Houston. During construction, one lane will remain open with a 10-foot width restriction in place.
Weather permitting, work is set for completion by Saturday, Nov. 1.
The work zone is clearly marked with signs, and MoDOT urges motorists to use extreme caution while traveling through the area. Drivers should expect possible delays and allow extra time for their commutes.
