Storms swept through Texas County on Monday evening and left some without electricity.
Intercounty Electric Cooperative Association reported 805 without power as of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. That’s about 7.34 percent without service in the county.
Storms also caused damage in Dent County. There are 953 without service. That’s about 16.62 percent of the number of meters.
“Always assume a downed line is a live line: stay away and report to Dispatch at 866-621-3679,” Intercounty said.
