​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between June 9 and 15, the Houston Police Department answered 193 calls for service and initiated 30 traffic stops, which resulted in nine citations and 26 warnings.
- On June 10, officers cited Tyler L. Edwards, 25, of Roby, for careless and imprudent driving.
- On June 10, officers responded to U.S. 63, near South Industrial Drive, for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported in the two-vehicle collision.Â
- On June 10, officers were dispatched to Opportunity Circle for a well-being check of a child who was left unattended in a vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
- On June 11, officers were dispatched to Thomasville Road for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On June 11, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft investigation. Following an investigation of the incident, officers cited Thomasina Shaw, 39, of Cabool, for stealing under $750.
- On June 13, officers responded to the 200 block of N. Grand Avenue for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported. While working this crash, another motor vehicle crash occurred at the same location involving two other vehicles. No injuries were reported in the second crash either.
- On June 13, officers arrested a 37-year-old male for driving while revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia. A report will be sent to the Texas County Prosecutor for the filing of formal charges.
- On June 14, officers responded to the 100 block of E. Spruce Street for a domestic disturbance. Following investigation of the incident, officers arrested John Carter, 36, of Houston, and cited him for fourth-degree domestic assault.
- On June 15, officers cited Ger’shom Mott, 19, of Mountain Grove, for operating a motor vehicle with no valid operator’s license.
