Texas County is under a flood watch until 1 p.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service said.

Rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches, with localized heavier amounts of 3 to 5 inches have already fallen across the area, with more on the way, it said. For a time Saturday afternoon, high water affected travel on U.S. 63 near Highway H near Elk Creek.

There is also a marginal (1 of 5) threat for isolated damaging wind gusts of 40 to 60 miles per hour Sunday and Monday.
