One person faces charges following an accident late Friday night on U.S. 60, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. T.L. Sullivan said an eastbound 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. The driver, Malissa A. Bossio-Haines, 49, of Stuart, Florida, was taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. She is charged with DWI – prior and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident.
The vehicle was totaled in the 11:40 p.m. accident about a mile east of Norwood.
