The National Weather Service predicts scattered showers and thunderstorms in the area Sunday afternoon and evening.
The highest chances (50-70%) are along and north of Interstate 44. Localized heavy rainfall may occur, it said.
Additional isolated rain chances (20-40%) will linger across the area tonight.
