Two Rolla residents received moderate injuries early Sunday about two miles east of Licking on Route 32, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Travis Brown said a westbound 2019 Dodge Ram driven by a 37-year-old woman ran off the left side of the highway, traveled through a fence and struck a tree at about 5 a.m.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, and a 41-year-old male passenger who was not, were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston after the crash.

Assisting were the Licking Police Department and Licking Fire Department.

The vehicle had extensive damage.
