Rain chances will linger into the Sunday afternoon hours, the National Weather Service said. Chances are highest (70-80%) along and south of I-44.
It said no severe weather is expected, but watch for flash flooding as these storms will be efficient rainfall producers. Heavy rain fell over the Houston area Saturday night.
