The Houston School District will hold its annual back-to-school event, School-A-Palooza, on Thursday at Hiett Gymnasium and Tiger Fieldhouse.
The free event is noon to 3 p.m.
Participants can pick up school supplies, visit with booth participants and engage in several activities, ranging from bounce houses to face painting.
