The National Weather Service said hot weather will continue in the area until Monday evening.
âž” Daily afternoon heat index values will be between 100 and 105 degrees. Lower values are expected across south-central Missouri. Air temperatures will range from 95 to 100 degrees.
âž” Mild overnight low temperatures in the 70s will provide minimal relief at night.
