Two persons were injured late Sunday morning in a motorcycle accident south of Success on Route 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Nathan Poynter said a southbound 2007 Honda Shadow 750 ran off the right side of the roadway two miles south of Success, struck a roadway sign, overturned and ejected both at about 11:45 a.m.

Two Fayette residents — ages 41 and 13 — were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with minor injuries. The motorcycle had extensive damage. Assisting was Tpr. Jason Sentman.
