About 1,700 electrical customers in the Houston area are without electricity, Intercounty Electric Cooperative Association said.

“Sho-Me Power is aware and technicians are on their way to make repairs,” the cooperative said in a statement.

Sho-Me is the wholesale electric supplier and has a substation in the area.
