Some areas of rural Texas County are under a boil water advisory, Public Water Supply District No. 1 reports.
It includes Boiling Springs Road, Jack Tar Road, Highway BB, Decker Road and Slaughter Road.
A water line break was reported.
“If you experience dirty water in your home, please take before and after readings from your meter and flush your lines at an outside faucet if at all possible. Once the lines are clear then let us know what those readings are and we will excuse any wasted water,” the district said in a statement.
