The Houston City Council will hold a hearing Thursday evening (Oct. 16) to have property owners explain why buildings described as dangerous should not be repaired, vacated or demolished.

The properties – identified in a ramped-up effort to clean up nuisance properties in Houston — are listed as:

  • 405 Phelps St., commonly known as the Houston Mill.
  • 304 Pine St., a structure west of a gravel school parking lot.
  • 109 S. Grand Ave., a structure situated on the west side of Grand Avenue and south of a health food store.

The meeting is at 5:30 p.m. at Houston City Hall.
