An accident Friday morning east of Licking injured one, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Jacob Sellars said a westbound 2013 Honda Civic driven by a 45-year-old Salem woman hydroplaned, went off the right side of the roadway and hit an embankment on Route 32 about five miles east of Licking.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Salem Memorial Hospital.

The vehicle received moderate damage. The Licking Fire Department assisted.
