A Cabool man is in the Texas County Jail after he was charged with three offenses.

Stacy Bynum Jr., born in 1991 and a resident of Cedar Bluff Avenue, is charged with first-degree burglary, a class B felony; third-degree domestic assault, a class E felony; and violation of an order of protection for an adult, a misdemeanor.

The allegations stem from an April 15 incident at a Houston residence, where a woman reported that Bynum had kicked in the front door, pinned her to a bed and took a telephone. Bynum is alleged to have thrown the phone against the wall and said, “You’re not calling the cops.”

The victim said she was pushed to the ground and heard Bynum say he didn’t bring a gun because he knew he would hurt her, according to a report. Two juveniles were in the house.

Bynum admitted to being at the home for a birthday party, and was aware of an order to stay away. He denied any physical altercation and forcing open the door. The victim showed no visible injuries, but said the assault caused her physical pain.
